You guys. This One Room Challenge came down to the wire- my last deliveries came in on Monday, and I had the space photographed yesterday. But, that’s the beauty of the One Room Challenge– it’s six-week-long crazy rush to the finish line. I painted, caulked, cut, styled, and sleep-walked my way to where we are now, but it was so incredibly worth it.
If you’re just catching up, you can see the before photos, my design plans for the space, the demo and construction in the room, how I chose the details like art and decor, and the obstacles I encountered in the final stretch. Just as a refresher, here are a few shots of the space as it looked when we bought it:
And because I’m not one to be coy, let’s just get to the good stuff. Here’s what it looks like now:
I am so thrilled with how it turned out- it feels chic and cozy and elegant and relatable and sophisticated.
Thank you for following along on this ride, and all of your kind comments and e-mails along the way. I don’t live in a traditional home- a one-bedroom apartment is different than the other reveals that you will see this week. But we are so in love with our city and our home- so thank you for being you.
Special thanks to these One Room Challenge Sponsors:

Thank you so much to Linda from Calling it Home for hosting this fantastic challenge. If it weren’t for you, I would still be living in a construction zone for weeks and weeks.
What is your favorite element of this space? I had to think outside of the box with this one-bedroom apartment. I don’t think that size means that you can’t be big on design- and that was my goal. Live in the space you love.
Stay tuned for sources on specific items in this space to come! I am so thrilled to share the shots of the finished space with you- and I am so thrilled to share these amazing sources with you! Stay tuned for more details 😉
