ONE | INITIAL CONSULTATION
First things first: the initial design consultation. This is where the client and designer relationship begins; it’s where the spark happens. This consult is a 60-minute meeting to discuss your design needs, space plans, and ultimate home goals. During the consult, Shannon will take photos and measurements of the space, and make suggestions about the scope of work according to your needs. After the consultation is complete, Shannon will provide you with a comprehensive project proposal that details the scope of the project and how you and the Shannon Claire Interiors team can complete it together.
TWO | PROJECT PRESENTATION
After the initial consult is complete and you decide to move forward with Shannon’s team for your project, the design plan begins to take place. After in-depth research and product sourcing, Shannon will provide you with a detailed presentation that includes sketches, design boards, product specs, construction proposals if needed, and any custom pieces that may work for your space. This period of time is when Shannon takes some space to be creative and visualize the space you may have only dreamed about.
THREE | INSTALLATION
After everything has been approved, implementation and installation can begin! During this phase, any construction work or custom installations are kicked off, and all pieces are ordered and Shannon and her team will install them on site. This is when the space comes together and the vision comes to life. Once all large pieces are installed and any construction is complete, the Shannon Claire Interiors team will shop for accessories and finishing touches to install, giving you the magazine-worthy reveal that you and your home deserve.
All full-service projects are billed at an hourly rate, and a project estimate is provided after the consultation stage.
THAT’S TOTALLY FINE!
Shannon offers E-Design services for clients who are not local to the Washington, DC area. E-Design is a completely digital version of your dream space, and it’s completed, implemented, and offered for a one-time fee based on project scope. All you have to do is provide a bit of information, and in a few weeks, your complete design board, space plan, and source list will be delivered to you in a package electronically!
ONE | QUESTIONNAIRE + MEASUREMENTS
To get started, Shannon will send a client questionnaire and measuring guide to get you started. All you have to do is fill it out, and send it back with a few photos of your space!
TWO | DESIGN TIME
Shannon will then take this information and put together a comprehensive design plan for your room, that includes paint colors, furniture choices, textiles, lighting accents, and accessories, and will deliver it along with a space plan and a complete list of all sources for your space in 3-4 weeks.
THREE | DESIGN ON YOUR TIME
After the design board, space plan, and source list have been delivered, you will have everything that you need to implement Shannon’s design to a “T”! Take your time pulling the space together, or do it all at once- it’s up to you. You will be fully equipped to complete the space of your dreams at your own pace. And, each E-Design project comes with one revision, so Shannon will make sure that you’re 100% happy with your finished plans.
